  ACIENNA Presents MEMS-Based MTLT305D Dynamic Tilt Sensor Module

27. June 2018 – ACEINNA announced the availability of its MEMS-based MTLT305D Dynamic Tilt Sensor Module. It combines accelerometers, gyroscopes and a temperature sensor with advanced calibration and correction algorithms to enable 3D acceleration, 3D rate and pitch-and-roll measurement in moving vehicles.

The MTLT305D uses sensor fusion (extended Kalman filtering) and calibration algorithms 0.5 degrees tilt and <10 milli-g acceleration accuracy in a variety of conditions.  It is calibrated to operate over a temperature range of -40C to +85C. The completely sealed compact module (65 x 66 x 27 mm) with integrated connector is designed for construction, off road and agriculture applications. It offers MTBF > 50,000 hours and is ITAR-Free

It includes CAN J1939 and RS232 interfaces for network connectivity. The plastic miniature housing is resistant to explosive environments (IP68 and IP69K). It includes a 16-pin Ampseal 16 connector and supports a wide input voltage range of 4.9V to 32V. (19659003) The MTLT305D supports industry-standard SAE J1939 data transmission over the CAN The supplied ACEINNA NAV-VIEW software provides a graphical user interface User interface for viewing, recording, playback and analysis of all MTLT305D parameters via the RS232 port. NAV-VIEW can also be used to set a number of user-configurable fields in the MTLT305D to optimize system performance for different applications.
