Arduino and Mathworks partners to publish Arduino Engineering Kit for students

Arduino and Mathworks Introduce Arduino Engineering Kit for Students

14. May 2018: Arduino announced its partnership with MathWorks, a developer of mathematical computer software for engineers and scientists, to strengthen the university's importance of Arduino in engineering, the Internet of Things, and robotics. The Arduino Engineering Kit is the first product released as a result of the partnership and will be available in the Arduino Online Store. The Arduino Engineering Kit consists of three Arduino-based projects that teach students how to build, intellectually challenge and develop modern electronic devices, and develop physical engineering skills that will prepare them for the commercial market after graduation.

Success of the Arduino CTC 101 Program, the higher secondary education program, the Arduino Engineering Kit allows college students and educators to integrate core engineering concepts into their Arduino projects.

In the kit is an Arduino MKR1000 board, several custom parts, and a complete set of electrical and mechanical components needed to assemble all three projects:

In addition to the hardware included, the student has to go online Registration Access to a dedicated e-learning platform and other learning materials. In addition, they receive a one-year single license for MATLAB and Simulink, with which they have experience in system modeling and the development of embedded algorithms.
