November 2018 - The EE1950 Dew Point Measurement Module from E + E Elektronik is designed for OEM applications with permanently high humidity and condensation conditions such as climate and test chambers. The temperature compensation ensures accuracy over the working range from -70 ° C to 180 ° C (-94 ° F to 356 ° F). The device is also particularly resistant to pollutants and corrosive substances.
The EE1950 uses the heated E + E Humidity and Temperature sensor HMC01, which shows stability when the relative humidity remains high. The proprietary E + E coating protects the sensor from dust, dirt and corrosion.
Together with an additional external temperature sensor, the EE1950 allows the calculation of the relative humidity. It is therefore a solution for climate chamber control.
Thanks to the Automatic Sensor Recovery (ARC) function, the sensor handles chemical contamination. By controlled heating, the chemicals look out of the sensor element. The ARC mode can be triggered either by a button on the board or by an electrical signal.
The measured dew point data are available at the analog output, which can be set to current or voltage with a slide switch. The scaling and adaptation of the outputs can be carried out via the service interface and the free configuration software EE-PCS.
Choice of two card sizes (55 x 46.5 mm / 2.17 x 1.83) or 90 x 70 mm / 3.54 x 2.36 ") and the flexible probe cable simplify the design of the EE1950. The stainless steel probe is available in lengths of 65 mm (2.56) and 200 mm (7.84).
