21. November 2018 - Dominique Llonch is Chairman of Nidec Industrial Solutions and CEO of Nidec ASI, the global leader in industrial solutions for the Nidec Group. Dominique succeeds Giovanni Barra, who has headed the company since 2013.

Dominique Llonch has been recognized for his in-depth knowledge of the sector and the various industries in which Nidec ASI operates and its international record. This has allowed it to fully understand the needs of customers operating in all major global markets.

Dominique Llonch has more than 25 years of experience in aerospace, oil & gas, T & D and power generation. He began his career as a program manager for digital controls in jet engines and then became engineering and service manager for oil and gas applications in DCS solutions. He then held various responsible positions in the areas of services, engineering, production and project execution, and has worked in various regions of the world, including China, India, Russia, Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Africa.

Dominique Llonch has also worked in industry and energy. As Deputy Chairman of Power Automation & Controls at ALSTOM Power on a global scale, Dominique Llonch was responsible for the construction of all types of power plant projects for some 200 C & I projects. He reorganized the business and focused management's attention on production and service, as well as technological innovation, to provide the best possible customer experience and drive the planned profitable strategic growth. Prior to joining Nidec, he was general manager of Projects Europe & Africa at General Electric, leading the development of over 5 billion euro gas firing systems.

Dominique Llonch holds a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (Supérie Aéro) and at INSEAD. 19659007] Did you like this article?
