Pepperl + Fuchs Announces Photoelectric Sensors R200 and R201

21. June 2018: With the designs R200 and R201, the product design of photoelectric sensors from Pepperl + Fuchs enables applications with longer working distances. Like the cR100, R101 and R103 series, both products offer all the photoelectric principles of operation in a design that is now larger and more suitable for specific mounting situations.

The R200 and R201 series offer photoelectric operating principles: through-beam sensors, retroreflective sensors with polarization filter or for unique object detection, energy-efficient reflected light scanners, sensors with background suppression and foreground suppression, light barriers with two switching points and distance sensors

All series are identical in terms of parameterization. The sensor adjustment is ensured by a multi-turn potentiometer and a button, which serve as a combined control with three LEDs for visualization of configuration, status and diagnostics. The appearance and behavior of the parameterization of a one-way light sensor, a retro-reflective sensor, or a diffuse mode sensor for the R100, R101, or R103 series is identical to that of the R200 and R201 models. This also applies to measuring instruments with several switching points or distance sensors.
