  Rockwell Automation Helps Irving Consumer Products to Automate Georgia Plant

11. May 2018 – Irving Consumer Products, a Canadian-based household and store brand of paper and personal care products, recently opened a facility in Macon. Georgia. Several production lines are planned for this facility, the first of which will be Rockwell Automation's PowerFlex 7000 and PowerFlex 755T integrated power systems.

The integrated system controls the speed, torque, direction and power of the engines that run the machines on the production line, as well as aggregated data to manage energy consumption.

The scope of the project also includes low and medium voltage motors as well as a complete portfolio of integrated services and support throughout the project, expected to be completed in 2019.
