 Telecommunications Industry Association Names David K. Bain Vice President of Standards 

  The Telecommunications Industry Association appoints David K. Bain as Vice President of Standards.

fourteenth November 2018 - The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), an association representing manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications Networks announced that David K. Bain has been named Vice President of Standards. He leads the team, which fulfills one of TIA's main responsibilities as an ANSI Accredited Standards Developing Organization (SDO).

David Bain Joins Technology Safety TIA Council, Promoting Best Practices for Safety and Sustainability for Technology Users, Suppliers, and Regulators Prior to joining the Technology Safety Council, he spent seven years at TM Technologies, a pioneer in wireless modulation, where he has spent as CEO and Director of Industry and Government Affairs. In addition, his unparalleled experience as a moderator, university lecturer and panelist on Capitol Hill brings a superior level of messaging to TIA's senior leadership team.

TIA's standard work is done by volunteer members of the TIA Engineering Committees. Up-to-date meeting reports, agendas and announcements for upcoming meetings as well as links to some of the most common standards from each committee are available on the pages of the Public Engineering Committee. TIA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
